Return & Refund Policy

1. Overview
Your satisfaction is important to us at Cepaea. This policy outlines our approach to returns, refunds, and warranty claims, in compliance with UK consumer law.

2. Returns

• You have 14 calendar days from the date of delivery to return an item.

• To be eligible for a return, the product must be unused (or, if faulty, supported by photo/video evidence) and returned with its original packaging and proof of purchase.

• Exclusions: Perishable items, live invertebrates, and any products specifically noted on the product page are excluded from the 14-day cancellation right.

3. Warranty Claims and Faulty Products

• If you receive a damaged or faulty product, please contact us within 14 days of delivery with supporting evidence.

• Upon verification, we will either repair or replace the product. If repair or replacement is not feasible within a reasonable time, you will be entitled to a full refund upon return of the product.

4. Refund Process

• Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you of the refund status.

• If approved, a refund will be issued using your original payment method. The timeframe for the refund to appear in your account depends on your bank or card issuer’s policies.

5. Shipping Costs

• Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping when canceling an order for change-of-mind reasons.

• Initial shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to a faulty or damaged product.

6. Order Cancellation

• Orders may be cancelled prior to dispatch. If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible.

• Cancellation rights are governed by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
